Live-in care and visiting home care in Plymouth
Jacqueline, our Plymouth Branch Manager and her team of expert carers are fully committed to providing you or your loved one with bespoke home care services in Plymouth, Saltash, Callington, Yealmpton and the surrounding areas. This is what Jacqueline has to say about the home care service she and her team provide in the Plymouth area!
Meet Jacqueline, our Branch Manager
“Hello! I’m Jacqueline, the Manager at Helping Hands’ Plymouth branch. I have lived in Plymouth for the last 40 years growing up in Hooe with my family. I have been in care for 24 years and worked in a variety of roles. I chose to make the move to care 5 years ago, due to my own personal palliative experience caring for my mother and seeing a need for great improvement in the domiciliary care sector. I am incredibly passionate about supporting and developing our fantastic carers, providing the best quality of care for our customers and looking after their well-being, so that they can remain independent in their own homes.”
Visiting home care in Plymouth
Here at Helping Hands we offer individually tailored high quality home care in Plymouth, Saltash, Callington, Yealmpton and the surrounding areas. Still family owned and run, we draw on over 29 years of experience, to ensure that the very best standards of support are delivered by our carers to each and every one of our customers.
Jacqueline and her team provide everything from companionship, housekeeping, through to providing more complex healthcare support for people with conditions such as MS, Spinal Injuries, Parkinson’s, Acquired Brain Injuries and those that have suffered a Stroke. Every member of the Helping Hands team is here to ensure we enable our customers to enjoy the quality of life they deserve in the comfort of their own home, irrespective of their personal or medical needs.
The team of dedicated carers across Plymouth and the surrounding areas are chosen and trained at the branch, supported by expert guidance from a team of registered nurses and myself. We draw on our extensive knowledge of the area, having first launched Helping Hands in Warwickshire in 1989.
If you’re receiving direct payments for social care through social services, we are able to accept top-ups to these payments. Get in touch to find out more.
Helping Hands are the true meaning of the word ‘caring’. They are just the best; they’re professional and empathetic. The carers become part of the family. They’re just amazing, dedicated people.
Bruce, a visiting care customer
I became a carer because I like to help others achieve their goals. I would also say that my family are my inspiration.
