Rochdale live-in care for constant support

Live-in care provides a great alternative to residential care and has lots of benefits that could help keep your loved one comfortably in their own home.

Benefits of live-in care:

  • One-to-one support – You will have one dedicated carer on hand all day and throughout the night too, to support you with everything from socialisation to advanced personal care.
  • Round the clock assistance – Your live-in carer will move in to your property with you, and is always there to support you. If you require double ups we can support you with visiting carers who work alongside you live in carer.
  • Compatibility – We take the time out to find out about your specific needs as well as who you are as a person to ensure we match you up with a companionable carer. You will be spending a lot of time with your live-in carer so it is essential that you get on.
  • Continuity – Live-in care provides continuity in your day-to-day life with things such as your routine, favourite meals, and the property that you stay in. Providing a stable and familiar environment can be vital to ensuring your wellbeing and peace of mind.
  • The finer details – Your home is trove of memories, and a place where you like things to be done in your own way. Your live-in carer will slot in to your usual life to maintain your routine and quality of life. Meaning you can eat when and what you like, keep your much loved pets at home and everything else that goes along with being in your much-cherished home.

A live-in carer can support you with personal care, medication support, and even complex health care needs.

Domiciliary care for extra reassurance

Also known as visiting care, domiciliary care provides support to you at home to enable you to live as independently as possible. It might be that you need someone to accompany you to the shops because you’re unable to go by yourself, or you might need several visits throughout the day to help with preparing your meals and supporting you with personal care. Whatever your requirements are, we’ll create a support plan tailored entirely around you and your needs.

Tailored care packages from dementia specialists

Dementia affects different people in different ways, so we tailor every dementia care package to the individual to ensure they are receiving care that is personalised to their exact needs.

Familiarity and continuity are essential parts of dementia care to ensure that your loved one doesn’t suffer any unnecessary disruption that could be detrimental to their wellbeing.

All of our Rochdale carers have been through dementia-specific training meaning that they are fully able to manage any difficulties that you and your loved one face, and share their knowledge with you to make things easier.

Retain your independence with elderly care

As you reach your more senior years, you may find that doing things like the housework, going shopping or getting up and down the stairs more difficult. That’s where the Rochdale elderly care team can step in. Designed to fit around your existing routines, we’ll work with you to organise visits that assist you to live as independently as possible. Not only will this give you peace of mind that you can rely upon a dedicated carer, but your loved ones can rest assured that you have the support you need if they’re unable to provide this for you.

Respite care from the Rochdale branch

We understand that your care needs could change quickly, or may not be ongoing in the first place. For this reason we can provide you with as little as one day of visiting care, or as few as three days of live-in care.

Respite care is a great option if you have just been discharged from hospital, or if you are recovering from an illness but soon to be back to your normal self.

It can provide you with great peace of mind if you are taking some time away and leaving a loved one at home, or if you would like support for yourself whilst you are on holiday.

Your respite carer can do the exact same things as a permanent carer, just on a short-term basis. Respite support is not limited to traditional care, we can also help you with one off events such as weddings, graduations or family parties.
