What are the four pillars, and why do we have them?
Lots of companies have mission statements which often end up not meaning very much.
We are building a different type of company, one that not only does good by looking after people and gives them independence at home, but also allows everyone who works with and for us to be the very best they can be.
“Kind” doesn’t mean soft. we expect the best, but by being a kind company we allow people to make mistakes and be supported to learn from them.
Together we listen and understand
We want all members of our team to be leaders; they set the very highest standards of care for our customers, and each other, and so lead by example.
Together we empower each other
We build trust and integrity by remembering and delivering on our promises, and we are always available to help customers and colleagues when they need us.
Together we deliver excellence
We strive for excellence in everything we do. We continue to exceed the expectations of our customers by working together, ensuring the delivery of the highest quality of care.
Together we build on success
In turn, this allows opportunities for all of us to grow and we will continue to train our teams to ensure growth and development for all our people.
We succeed by working together; we take pride in our success and enjoy what we do, achieving a better future for our customers and colleagues.
The Granny Test
We are the type of organisation that wants to empower their staff to make the right choices, in the moments that they need to. Although we are a large company with over 120 offices across the UK, each one of our employees has the autonomy to make a decision if they believe it is the right thing to do and will benefit our carers or our customers.
There is only one rule that we live by: does it pass the Granny Test?
The Granny Test is simply asking yourself; would my Granny approve? Is it sensible, moral, financially viable? If so, you have our backing as an organisation to go ahead and make the decision for yourself.
If this sounds like the type of company that you want to work for then apply now – we might just have the role you are looking for.
