What is live in care?
If you or a loved one are managing a disability, living with dementia or just need more regular support, live-in care can provide the practical help that’s needed.
By choosing live-in care, you avoid the move to a care home, can choose your carer and be confident the care will truly meet your individual needs and preferences. You can continue to live well in the home and community you love.
How do you find the right live in carer?
All our live-in carers are handpicked for their kindness, patience, and empathy. They care for you or your family as we’d want our own families to be cared for. Your local care manager will match you with a number of carers, based on your needs and you can then choose who you think best suits you.
We directly employ and train all our professional carers to the trusted Helping Hands standard giving you extra peace of mind. Our carers are also supported by a team of specialist nurses.

Are live in care and 24-hour care the same?
24 hour care is a term often used to describe the round-the-clock care that someone feels they need for themselves or a family member. Live-In care provides this 24-hour assistance in your home, giving you the practical support you need, in surroundings you know and love.

Why do people choose live in care?
Most people choose live–in care because they need ongoing practical support to continue to live in the home they love.
For families, especially for those that live some distance away, live-in care provides peace of mind that a loved one has the help they need.
There is also the added reassurance that a carer can help to maintain overall wellbeing, day to day, and potentially spot any additional challenges that might arise.

We support people with a range of care needs:
Dementia care
If a loved one is no longer able to live on their own, a live-in carer can offer much needed support while providing reassurance for family members.
Palliative care
For those living with a terminal or progressive condition, live-in care offers emotional support and help with managing symptoms.
Elderly care
If you’re finding it more difficult to move around or manage your daily routine, live-in care can support you to stay in the comfort of your own home.
Parkinson's care and support
If memory, movement or speech challenges are making things difficult day to day, you might benefit from the ongoing support of a live-in carer.
Disability care
For those living with a physical disability or mental impairment, our live-in carers can provide support tailored to your needs.
Support for young adults
For young adults with specialist support requirements, live-in care can help to maintain and improve independence.
We’re also able to provide rehabilitation support to those who might benefit from having a live-in carer to aid recovery from surgery or an
accident.
