Home care in Guiseley
Visiting care and home care in Guiseley
Guiseley is a charming small town in Leeds, West Yorkshire, famous for Harry Ramsden’s fish and chip shop. The chippy opened its doors in 1928 and branched out across the country, allowing everyone to enjoy the nation’s favourite dish.
But that’s not all. Guiseley is also home to some of our Helping Hands customers, who continue to live an independent life at home with a little help along the way – all thanks to our wonderful carers. Our carers provide more than just support with medication and household chores; they provide companionship and a personal touch, ensuring you or your loved one is provided with compassionate, person-centred care.
At Helping Hands, we provide care on a visiting and live-in basis, so we will be sure to find a package to suit your requirements. Plus, all our services are fully regulated by the Care Quality Commission and Care Inspectorate Wales, giving you extra peace of mind.

Branch Care Manager
My role at Helping Hands is to manage a team of both office staff and carers out in the community to deliver an outstanding quality of care to our customers. My responsibilities within my role are to make sure we are delivering a safe and effective service and that we are responsive in our day to day activities. I decided to join the care industry after my grandad passed away in 2017. I had hands-on experience of what care was about and it inspired me to give something back and make my family proud. I decided to join Helping Hands as a carer which I thoroughly enjoyed, which then led me to progress into different roles within the company. I feel very passionate about what we do at Helping Hands and I have a fantastic team of both office staff and carers that have the same passion for the job as I do. I am very family orientated and in my spare time I love to spend time with my nearest and dearest, socialising, going out for food, and holidays abroad.

Other care we provide
High quality home care in Guiseley
No matter what condition you are living with, we provide exceptional care to those who need it most. You will also remain in the place you love most – home. You will stay close to your loved ones, personal possessions and special memories. Plus, you won’t be restricted to any schedules, visiting hours, or set mealtimes – you will have complete control. After all, the most important person is you.
24/7 live in care support
Live-in care is a popular choice for many, especially those living with complex conditions like dementia and Parkinson’s. With this service, one of our carers stays with you or your loved one at home, providing support whenever you need it. This means you won’t have to wait for a carer; there will always be someone by your side offering round-the-clock support.
Why Helping Hands is better than a care agency in Guiseley
We believe in continuity of care, a service many care agencies don’t offer. Since 1989, we’ve been providing care as a private service, allowing us to recruit our carers directly. These compassionate, kind individuals will see you daily, ensuring a familiar face and consistent care. Plus with us, there are no hidden costs, referral fees, or unnecessary paperwork.
Qualified carers providing a variety of care services in Guiseley
At Helping Hands, all our carers are fully qualified to provide outstanding care. They undergo rigorous training at our in-house training academy and regularly update their skills through refresher courses. We also conduct strict background checks, including a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check and references from previous employers. So you can relax, knowing you’re in good hands.
