Meet Melony, our Head of Service - Home Care
“Hello! I’m Melony, the Head of Service Home Care at Helping Hands. It is my role to ensure the smooth running of all of our home care branches nationwide, to manage our registered branch managers and to ensure that we are always following best practice. I’ve years of experience in the care industry, I was previously a CSSIW Registered Manager and I have seen first hand how expertly managed home care can bring relief to families who need a little extra help and support, whether that be personal care, cooking, cleaning or help getting to the local doctors or hospital. It’s my job to ensure that our customers get the continuity of care that they want, on their terms.”

Every member of the Helping Hands team is here to ensure we enable our customers to enjoy the quality of life they deserve in the comfort of their own home, irrespective of their personal or medical needs.
The team of dedicated carers across Hertford and the surrounding areas are chosen and trained at the branch, supported by expert guidance from a team of registered nurses and myself. We draw on our extensive knowledge of the area, having first launched Helping Hands in Warwickshire in 1989.
We have received a consistent and excellent service. Having one main carer is wonderful and the hand-overs during the changes for the carers’ holidays has worked. Thank you very much.

The training team made the training so interesting, fun, and most of all, showed me that I am capable of caring for others.
