Throughout our 30 year history we’ve cared for thousands of customers and we’re proud of the difference we’ve made to each of their lives. We’re a company who have covered the whole of England and Wales from small beginnings, and as we’re fully regulated by the CQC and CIW you can be sure of the quality of our care. Call us today to find out more about home care for you or your loved ones.
We can support you in and around Kempsey, Callow End, Clifton, Kerswell Green, Green Street and the surrounding areas.
Kempsey village was once an island that lay between marshes and the River Severn, its name derived from belonging to the Saxon chief Kemy. The village has a long history and was recorded in the ‘Domesday Book’ of 1086.
Helping Hands also has a long history, albeit not as far back as Kempsey’s. We began in 1989; established to provide the highest standards of care at home, which is an ethos we still live by. Our visiting and live-in services can provide the care you need personalised to you, and with visits from just 30 minutes a week we can provide you with all the support you need.
"Hi, my name is Berni, and I am the manager for Helping Hands Worcester branch. I have only recently started working for Helping Hands, but I have a wealth of knowledge and experience and I am excited about meeting all the customers and staff. I am responsible for ensuring that we continue to provide the highest level of care and support to all our customers and potential new customers in the Worcestershire area."
For over 30 years, we've been supporting people with care, nurse-supported care and companionship across England and Wales. As industry-leaders in home care, we know what it takes to provide the right level of care so that you can retain your independence in the comfort of your beloved home.

If you’re concerned about the loss of independence that going into a care home can bring, or maybe the financial implications, live-in care from Helping Hands can be a cost-effective alternative. Your carer will live with you in your home all day and night meaning you’ll never be alone at home, which in itself can be reassuring for you and your loved ones. This doesn’t mean your carer will be in the way or under your feet though, as they’ll be as discreet as you need and aware of how much support you’ll require, thanks to your personalised support plan. You’ll soon become friends though and you’ll wonder how you ever managed without them!
Our carers get to concentrate on providing the best care possible for our customers in their own homes, thanks to the fact that we’re a private home care company, not an agency. Agencies will often charge you for hidden extras such as referral fees and ‘matching’ costs, whereas our pricing structure is open and transparent, meaning you avoid any unpleasant surprises when your bill arrives.
If you enjoy your own routines being followed and don’t want to compromise your way of life when needing care, then domiciliary care is the answer. Having care at home means you get to do what you want at times to suit you, whether that’s eating, getting out of bed or doing activities. No matter what you need support with, for instance medication, personal care or housework, we can help, so stay in control of your own preferences with care at home.
Receiving a diagnosis of dementia can unsettle your entire life as well as that of your loved ones, so it’s important to know that when you require dementia care, you receive it from a dementia specialist care company with over 30 years’ experience. Remaining at home in familiar surroundings can help to reduce confusion and anxiety, thanks to being close to loved ones and precious memories, as well as being able to preserve your routines to assist with the continuation of regular daily life.
If your regular carer needs to take a scheduled break or one of your family is taken ill, respite care from Helping Hands means our carers come to you! From short-term care of a few days up to a few weeks, respite care at home can be ideal and we’ll respect your routines so that it’ll be like your regular carer never left. In an emergency we can also get care to you within 24 hours, so if you receive an unexpected discharge from hospital or your carer is taken ill, we can help.
If you’re struggling to remain as independent at home as you’d like, perhaps due to a condition or age-related frailties, our dedicated carers can help. Don’t struggle alone with tasks such as vacuuming, preparing meals or taking a shower safely, let our carers offer you or your loved ones extra support, even with laundry and various household tasks. Stay safely in the home you love by having elderly care from Helping Hands and live your best life today.
We honestly believe that our carers are amongst the best in the industry, thanks to their tireless service caring for our customers every day of the year. We manage this because we only select people who share our ethos for delivering the highest quality, person-centred care, something we’ve lived by since our founding in 1989. We train our carers well and screen them through the Disclosure and Barring Service so you and your loved ones can be confident in who is entering your home. We’re fully regulated by the Care Quality Commission and Care Inspectorate Wales, so you know we’re not exaggerating when we say we’re one of the leading home care providers in the UK.
