Qualified carers providing assisted living in Newcastle

One of the reasons our customers love the service we provide is because of our wonderful carers. They truly are brilliant people who are exceptional at what they do, and that’s because we only hire people who clearly possess a naturally kind and compassionate personality. Every Helping Hands carer must undergo extensive DBS checks before starting with us, as well as passing our rigorous assessment process. Then, when they join our live in care in Newcastle team, all new carers receive our first-rate carer training, which equips them to provide a wide range of support services to people with varying needs.

When to consider this type of support?

Assisted living can be a valuable source of support to anyone who might be living with a medical condition or disability and is no longer fully able to take care of themselves or their home. Traditionally, those requiring regular extra support may have considered moving into residential care or a nursing home. However, remaining at home for assisted living is becoming an increasingly popular support option, as it allows the care receiver to continue living in a friendly, familiar environment and benefit from personalised, one-to-one support.

How much does assisted living cost?

The cost of supported living from Helping Hands will vary depending on your level of need. Our visiting care packages start from £29.00 per hour, whilst live-in care prices start at £1,779 per week for one person and £1,779 per week for a couple. Each care visit also incurs a £4.25 fee to cover your carer’s costs.

We know how important it is to you that your care is straightforward to arrange, sustainably affordable, and doesn’t come with any unwanted extras or additional costs. That’s why we’re completely transparent about the upfront costs involved in our industry-leading home care, and will never ever try to push you to sign up for any extra hours or services that you don’t want or need. Your local care manager in Newcastle will always be on hand to help you make any changes you wish to make to your support at a moment’s notice.
