Home care in Wednesbury
Visiting care and home care in Wednesbury
Centrally located in the Black Country just five miles from Wolverhampton and less than three miles from Walsall, Wednesbury is perfectly placed to take advantage of all that the West Midlands is famous for. Despite being only seven miles from England’s second city, Birmingham, Wednesbury isn’t eclipsed by its near neighbours and has a heritage of its own dating back to the Iron Age.
Because Helping Hands have been established in the West Midlands for more than 30 years, we thought it was about time we spread our wings further and explored some of the other places nearby. We already have a busy branch in Walsall, so it made perfect sense to explore the region further. Why not give us a call today, as our visiting and live-in care services are fully regulated by the Care Quality Commission and the Care Inspectorate Wales, meaning you can always be confident in our standards of delivery.

Branch Care Manager
As the Branch Manager for Helping Hands Walsall, my main role is to ensure that we provide a high quality and safe service. I make sure that the branch runs smoothly day-to-day ensuring that both customers and carers are happy. Our main goal is to ensure that we provide person centred care and achieve positive outcomes. I joined helping hands in February 2019 but have worked in care for over ten years, starting as a carer for a nursing home in Wolverhampton. I have worked with people with various needs and dependency levels. I became a senior carer for the dementia unit and this quickly became my main passion. I became a dementia friend and began to actively raise money for the Alzheimer's society. I joined Helping Hands as a care Coordinator for the Wolverhampton branch and I am now Branch Manager for Walsall. After caring for my grandad, who had Alzheimer's, I knew my calling was to work in the health care sector. I am extremely passionate about keeping people at home in their own environment and with their routine. A bit about me - I enjoy spending my free time with family and friends. I have two young children and two dogs. My ideal day would be a trip to the farm or zoo, followed by a picnic in the park. I enjoy listening to music and cooking/trying new food.

Other care we provide
High quality home care in Wednesbury
With home care from Helping Hands, you’ll always be kept at the centre of your care journey, whether you need us for an hour or two a week or around the clock. We offer exemplary levels of support to people living in the area, on a companionship basis or for full support of a complex condition. This can include undertaking housework, assisting with your personal care, preparing nutritious meals, or any other aspect of your daily routine.
24/7 live in care support
Live-in care is like nothing else – you have a dedicated carer living in your home with you, meaning you get around-the-clock support with everything you need. This is the perfect alternative to moving into residential care as who really wants to leave their beloved home just because they need some additional support to manage? They’ll help you with every aspect of your routine and provide essential companionship so you’re never feeling lonely.
Why Helping Hands is better than a care agency in Wednesbury
We’re better than a care agency because we have spent decades honing ourselves to be the UK’s foremost private home care company. We’ve never been an agency – agencies tend to ‘match’ you with a carer for a fee, and then have little else to do with the process – whereas with Helping Hands your care package is managed by us from the very start. We also employ our own carers so you’ll never be left with endless paperwork to complete.
Qualified carers providing a variety of care services in Wednesbury
Our carers are amazing, but we would say that, wouldn’t we? Well, we like to ask our prospective customers and their loved ones to read just some of the Trustpilot reviews we’ve received from other people who can’t praise them highly enough either, just to be sure. We carefully chose the people who come and work for us, building on their existing skills and equipping them with more so that they can always care for you to the very highest standards.
