Meet Ursula Furtenbach-Wilson, our Regional Care Director
“Hi, I’m Ursula. I am the Head of Homecare for the South East Region. I am responsible for the structure and support of our carers in the London and Essex region, ensuring that our customers receive the seamless and compassionate service that Helping Hands is known for.
“I have worked in the healthcare sector for 12 years, but after having my second baby boy I decided I wanted to do something more meaningful. After my previous experience I know how important it is to provide an exceptional quality of care to those who need it, and I’m incredibly proud to work for a company that does just that.

With live-in care, not only will you receive compassionate, unintrusive and practical support, but we’ll ensure that your mental wellbeing is being looked after too.
Prior to joining our team, each of our carers complete a comprehensive training programme so that they have the knowledge and expertise to help you with whatever it is you need. What’s more, they all have the natural ability to provide compassionate and empathetic support – and they really do genuinely care. So, whether you like to take a walk around Kensington Gardens in the sunshine or fetch your groceries from Wholefoods, our carers will be by your side.
This particular carer has changed all our lives for the better. They care for our dad as if he was their own father. My brother and I feel like a huge weight has been lifted.
