Our services in Wales are fully regulated by the Care & Social Services Inspectorate Wales (CSSIW). Following a recent inspection, in August 2017 the CSSIW awarded our Cardiff branch and the carers who work there as going “above and beyond” for doing the things that are not on the list.

This is what Natasha has to say about the home care service she and her team provide.

Meet Natasha, our Branch Manager

Natasha Rappell, Cardiff Branch Manager

"Hello! I’m Natasha, the Manager at Helping Hands’ Cardiff branch. I started working in care in December 2005, I knew from a young age that I passionately wanted to help people. Over the years to develop myself and my skills I've learnt sign language and taken other courses that I felt may help me care for people. I'm very lucky and have received many thank you letters and a beautiful framed letter from one family, I looked after their mum and dad until they both sadly passed away, which was devastating but I was glad to have been able to support them.

I was also nominated for the Wales Care Award, which is an honour as it is awarded to those that demonstrate outstanding excellence within their field. It's my role to support both our customers and carers and I take great pride in my job, love what I do."

How visiting care is helping Audrey

The consistency and dedication of my mother’s care team has been exemplary. I have nothing but praise for them. My mother has been very happy and settled throughout the whole process.
