Award-winning training for our Richmond carers
-
Helping Hands was founded in a small town in Warwickshire in 1989, where we had a small team of caring, compassionate people to support local families in the comfort of their own home. Thirty years later, we’re proud to have been providing that same level of expert care to thousands of families across England and Wales – but none of it would have been possible if it wasn’t for our wonderful carers.
Following a stringent recruitment process, each of our carers complete a comprehensive training course that covers modules such as moving and handling, medication administration and safeguarding, as well as undergoing a full background check including Disclosure Barring Service (DBS) screenings. But with their professional experience and expert training aside, every single one of our carers possess the trait that cannot always be taught: they are all naturally wonderful people.
Like all of our branches, our Richmond office is fully regulated by the Care Quality Commission (CQC), and we are the only home care provider to be endorsed as a Centre of Excellence by Skills for Care.
