Visiting care and home care in Kew

Helping Hands have been supporting people at home for 37 and throughout that time we have focused on keeping our customers as independent as possible in the homes they love. Our mission is to help people live as well as they can, and we dedicate our days to doing just that.

Our carers are amazing people who spend their time helping our customers to get the best out of life. They focus on housekeeping, personal care, and so much more to ensure that the customers are comfortable and safe, on both a visiting and live-in care basis.

If you mention Kew, then most people immediately think of the famous gardens, now a World Heritage Site. Kew also holds a lot of heritage thanks to being home to The National Archives, including the immensely important Domesday Book.

High quality home care in Kew

We offer visiting care from just an hour or two a week, up to around-the-clock 24-hour support. Our customers live in many different circumstances, some of which mean they only need occasional help, while others have several visits every day. Our carers often work to give family carers a break, meaning loved ones can relax knowing they’re in safe hands. Visiting carers can support with every aspect of your daily routine, from medication and mobility support, through to meal preparation, personal care, and housework.

    24/7 live in care support

The idea of a stranger coming and living in your home can be nerve-wracking at first, however, you’ll quickly realise that they’re a compassionate person who will put you at the heart of everything they do. We work hard to match you with someone who will make your days a pleasure and will have your wellbeing at heart. Our live-in carers are highly skilled and will always respect your home, never overstepping professional boundaries.

Why Helping Hands is better than a care agency in Kew

Care agencies are not the same as private home care companies, and that matters. Care agencies aren’t usually regulated by the Care Quality Commission and don’t have to hold themselves up to professional scrutiny. They also don’t employ or train their own carers. Helping Hands has never been a care agency – since we were established in 1989, we’ve been a private home care company. We own and manage all of our 155 branches across England and Wales; we don’t sell franchises as we want to maintain the highest standards of consistency.

Qualified carers providing a variety of care services in Kew

We only have the most knowledgeable and competent people to be Helping Hands carers, but that doesn’t happen by accident. We recruit our carers in-house, wanting to oversee every aspect of the process. We also devise and deliver all of our own training because we know how important that is. We give each employee a bespoke learning and development experience to ensure that they’re fully skilled for their role, just one of the ways that we keep our staff motivated and happy at work.
