Home care in Worksop
Visiting care and home care in Worksop
Worksop is located on the edge of the beautiful and historic Sherwood Forest in Nottinghamshire, with a growing population and an architectural gem in Worksop Manor. Named after an Anglo-Saxon called ‘Weorc’, Worksop had a medieval castle and was even host to a minor skirmish during the Wars of the Roses. With all these great things, we know it can be hard to consider leaving home to receive health care.
That’s why with Helping Hands, we can offer bespoke live-in, visiting and respite home care to your doorstep in Worksop. We’re regulated by the Care Quality Commission (CQC), so we’re always regulated. We have over 150 branches in the UK and over 35 years of experience, so you’re in capable hands.

Branch Care Manager
I am the branch manager in Chesterfield where I am responsible for the day to running and delivering of the care in the Chesterfield area, ensuring staff and customers are well looked after. I have been in care since I was 18, and this has always been a passion of mine as I am naturally a caring person and have personal experience of requiring good support. I have two blind sons and we have required our own support over the years so understand what's important to people from both sides. Helping Hands offer a quality support, showing that they actually care about individuals. The staff are treated kindly with lots of support and understanding but empathy is a must! Helping Hands offers a fair wage and excellent training with good working practice and a friendly cuppa if ever needed. I support my sons who now have their own families so spend lots of my free time with them. I also have two German Shepherds that I love walking, and enjoy weekends away in my caravan.

Other care we provide
High-quality home care in Worksop
We offer high-quality home care to you in Worksop that tailors to you and your unique needs. Our carers are there to help in any way you need, including general housekeeping and keeping the home tidy, safe and clean. They can help with preparing healthy and delicious meals, help walk your adorable pets or even run those errands to get the shopping in. While our carers are a lifeline when it comes to being an all-around relied-upon helper, they are expertly qualified to handle condition-led care. We can support those with cancer, strokes, Parkinson’s, and much more. We get to know you and your condition, so we can work together to help manage it. We know it’s not a ‘one size fits all’ approach when it comes to your health care, and that’s why our holistic approach not only looks after your physical needs but your emotional and spiritual ones too.
: 24/7 live-in care support
Our live-in care is designed to offer around-the-clock care so that we can be there for you at any time of the day or night. While our carers are great at handling the day-to-day, they are also experts at providing medical clinical care. Our nursing care can support catheter and stoma care, ventilation care, NIPPY and PEG feeding, and more. They’re trained by NHS-trained carers so they know what they’re doing when it comes to medication administration. We can offer the best bits of a care home but from the comfort of your own home in Worksop.
Why Helping Hands is better than a care agency in Worksop
We’re better because our carers care about you and the type of help you need and we’re big on personalising our care plans for you and you alone. We can offer elderly care, palliative care, disability care and many more. Each care plan is specific to your required needs, and we make sure to match a carer to your interests and personality. This way, you could enjoy companionship from Helping Helps and show off the nearby Sherwood Forest with them.
