Visiting home care in Maidstone
Here at Helping Hands we offer individually tailored high quality home care in Maidstone, Strood, Rochester, Chatham and the surrounding areas. Still family owned and run, we draw on over 29 years of experience, to ensure that the very best standards of support are delivered by our carers to each and every one of our customers.
Lynne and her team provide everything from companionship, housekeeping, through to providing more complex healthcare support for people with conditions such as MS, Spinal Injuries, Parkinson’s, Acquired Brain Injuries and those that have suffered a Stroke. Every member of the Helping Hands team is here to ensure we enable our customers to enjoy the quality of life they deserve in the comfort of their own home, irrespective of their personal or medical needs.
The team of dedicated carers across Maidstone and the surrounding areas are chosen and trained at the branch, supported by expert guidance from a team of registered nurses and myself. We draw on our extensive knowledge of the area, having first launched Helping Hands in Warwickshire in 1989.
If you’re receiving direct payments for social care through social services, we are able to accept top-ups to these payments. Get in touch to find out more.
The carers were well-trained, professional, friendly, and kind. We are all so pleased Helping Hands was there for us and would recommend them to others.

Live-in care in Maidstone
If you need a more intense level of home care in Maidstone, our carers are fully trained to provide you with the help and support that you need. Our live-in care services in Maidstone means that one of our carers can be there to support you around the clock. If you have a progressive medical condition or have been recently injured and need support around the home, one of our nurse-led carers can give you the extra support you need. If your medical condition requires that you take medication in the middle of the night, one of our carers can be there to remind you to take it and help to administer it.
You can be confident in the expert knowledge of our carers. All of our local Warwickshire carers have been fully trained at our very own Centre of Excellence, and have a wide knowledge of complex condition-led care. All Helping Hands carers are DBS checked and trained to help you or your loved one remain independent in their home, whilst giving you the level of live-in care that you require.
Friendly, qualified carers in Maidstone
Our Maidstone carers are committed to providing you or your loved one with the very best possible care. To ensure that they can deliver your care to the highest standard, we are committed to providing them with a comprehensive programme of training and support.
Before beginning their work with us, all our carers take part in an intensive training programme at our Centre of Excellence. But the training does not stop there. Every Helping Hands carer takes part in on-going training to boost their knowledge and experience across a wide range of areas, from dementia care to complex care requirements.
Our carers are also committed to ensuring that you receive the best condition-led care available, and work with local GPs to understand how best to support you.
I feel so supported by all of the team. Excellent training was provided – it was so informative and to the point. All in all, a great place to work.
